Cleaning Tom’s Truck Part II

The Cleaning of Tom’s Truck (Part II)

As you witnessed Toms truck was in pretty bad condition. What the pictures didn’t show was how much fun we had cleaning it out. We filled two full trash cans and littered the yard with things that didn’t belong and things that Tom stole from me. I found two cans of the ice melt and my window scraper at the bottom of the trash heap. I remember having to drive my car a while looking through a baseball sized clearing on my windshield a lot last winter. I’m still pissed.

Tom did pretty good helping me so I let him take a break for about 10 minutes. He complained a lot less than I thought he would.

I couldn’t believe that tom took to preparing his own peanut butter sandwiches while sitting in his car with trader Joe’s peanut butter. When he didn’t have bread he would simply eat from the jar with a Spork. (Yuck!!). It was nasty. Another thing was the little Caesars box in his truck. Tom constantly tells me never to buy pizza because he says he’s trying to eat healthy.  Anyway, the food stuff wasn’t the worst part. The worst part was his cup holder. It was full of coins stuck together in a hardened resin bed of coffee epoxy. Tom’s Idea of fixing it was to poor hot water in it and sucks it out with a vacuum cleaner. Obviously I rejected that idea. I had to fill the cup holder with Krud Kutter. This is caustic and corrosive cleaner. After soaking I was unable to loosen the 40 coins or so. I had to use a miniature pry bar called a cat’s paw and it took some muscle to free the cash. We cleared about 8 dollars.

Tom did shoot the following videos. I feel that it did capture the essence of this activity, so I allowed him to post them on my site I hope you enjoy them
